Recycled Sail Cloth Whale Tote

This Whale Tote features an antique illustration of a Sperm Whale, made famous by Herman Melville’s "Moby-Dick." The Whale Tote lining features Mary Brewster’s handwritten notes chronicling life aboard a whaling ship during the late 1800s. Mary Brewster was a whaling wife who, rather than spending long periods of her married life alone in New England, chose to accompany her sea captain husband on dangerous voyages to the Pacific.
